Welcome to Spice Club!
Rule #1 - You do not talk about spice club... unless it’s to share your favorite recipe!
Here's how it works:
On the 1st Monday of each month, pick up a kit that includes:
- A sample of a featured spice
- History of the spice’s origins
- Recipes from our cookbook collection
October 6th at 2:00p.m.
Spice Kits featuring Star Anise available at the Civic Center Library adult reference desk on the 2nd floor. Kits are limited and registration is required. (one kit per family)
October's kits will also feature recipes from gravestones around the world. Recipes have been left on gravestones for centuries as a common way to memorialize the people in our families who brought people together through their cooking. While the recipes won't necessarily contain the Star Anise ingredient, we encourage you to try one of these recipes immortalized in stone.
***Kits not picked up by October 10th will be given to patrons registered on the wait list***
