Oceanside Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting

The Library Board of Trustees meets on the 4th Friday of each month, except in December.  The meetings are open to the public in-person and for non-participation viewing on Zoom.   

The Library Board of Trustees is appointed by the Mayor, with consent of the City Council.  The Library Board works to support and promote the mission of the Oceanside Public Library: To engage, inform, connect, and inspire.  The Board manages operations, makes rules, sets policy, monitors expenditures, authorizes payments for the Library, makes Library budget recommendations to the City Council, and ensures Library services meet the needs of Oceanside’s diverse community.
