READS Learning Center invites adults to participate in First Try, a creative program focused on learning new things! Join us for our first four-part series where we will learn how to embroider together!

Join us on the 2nd Monday of every month for Wind-Up Vinyl Hour. Every month, participants will be prompted to bring a record that matches a new theme. For February, bring some ballads! 

Join STEM Ambassadors from CSUSM and participate in weekly hands-on STEM activities. Solve real world design challenges using a variety of technologies and building materials.

Read and discuss the graphic novel Investigators by John Patrick Green. 

Kids 5-8 years old, bring a parent and join the downtown Civic Center Library to learn how to play the popular Pokémon card trading game.  This is for kids and parents that play at the beginning level, with no experience.

Join us at the Oceanside Public Library for Cupid Crew, a special event to bring joy and connection to older adults at risk for isolation. Together we will write notes of encouragement and support.

Get creative with us! Decorate an apron to use for crafts, cooking, or anything else you dream up. All supplies provided—just bring your imagination and have fun making something uniquely yours!

Join our Family Literacy Program where we help adults build skills to support their families! We bring together books and crafts to help you read and learn with your kids. It's fun, interactive, and a great way to bond as a family.
