Bubs Studio was founded by Christina Villarino, who comes from a lineage of seamstresses. She opened this sewing studio in downtown Oceanside to share her love for sewing with the community. The studio offers workshops, private sewing lessons, and Mend It Monday—a weekly event where people come together to learn how to repair their own clothes.
The Sustainable Oceanside Libraries Project is supported in part by the the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian, and the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
