The Oceanside Public Library is thrilled to present a very special afternoon featuring renowned young adult author Darcie Little Badger! Join us for an exciting talk on Monday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Community Room, located at 330 N Coast Hwy. This event will be an unforgettable experience for all!
Darcie Little Badger is the bestselling indigenous author of the young adult fantasy novel Elatsoe, which has received widespread acclaim. The novel was named by TIME as one of the 100 best fantasy novels of all time. Her other novels, A Snake Falls to Earth and Sheine Lende: A Prequel to Elatsoe, have also been met with praise.
Known for her captivating storytelling within the genre, Little Badger will delve into her journey to mastering storytelling. Whether you’re an aspiring writer or simply curious about the craft, this talk will be enlightening and unmissable! After the talk, Little Badger will partake in a Q&A session with the audience. Free copies of all three of her full-length novels will be available for teens to receive and have signed while supplies last!
